Each interactive page provides context clues, fun animations, humorous sound effects and easy-to-follow audio guidance. Select words and pictures, found in the stories, link to an on-screen dictionary, which teaches both definitions and alphabetizing. All these elements work together to ensure reading success. Plus, a Create-A-Story section lets kids author and illustrate their own stories or re-create the stories they read. They can choose from 181 picture stamps, 120 word stamps, 26 background scenes, 27 colors, and 6 drawing tools. Today’s reader becomes tomorrow’s writer!
