Description

Here’s where it all begins to add up! Early math skills are also life skills, and the Big Math 1-2 Workbook is packed with exercises that make learning fun. These proven activities will help your child be successful in school by teaching addition, subtraction, story problems, time, money, fractions, multiplication, and more. Imagination meets real-world problem-solving. Plus, the spiral-bound format means pages lay flat for ease of work and maximum concentration. When opened out flat, it can also fold over on itself, in half, to make a 7.75” X 10.75” lap-sized work surface while traveling or waiting somewhere without access to a table. We used The Principles and Standards for School Mathematics, published by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), as a guide in writing this book.

Homeschool Must Have!

I love these books so much. It’s an affordable way to homeschool your child. They are interactive and fun for my 5 year old. I will say, I don’t know if my child is just ahead of the curve but, she is a kindergartner on a first grade level in these books. I had returned the Kindergarten book for “Big Reading”, “Big Math”, “Big Spelling” etc. which is said to be on an 1-2 grade level. They fit her skill level much better. It is a great “problem” to have 😄 I considered getting the comprehensive 1st grader book from this line but decided to try that from a different brand. These help supplement it wonderfully. I will recommend to other first time homeschool moms and I will buy the following books in this series.

Let's get our MATH ON!!

My 6-year-old is loving this math workbook! Even though it's a bit above his level, the colorful illustrations and engaging exercises keep him motivated. He's learning essential math skills like addition, subtraction, word problems, telling time, and counting money. I can see a big improvement in his confidence and understanding of math. This workbook is a great investment for any parent who wants to help their child succeed in school. Get some

My grandson love it

I use this textbook as a tool for my first grade grandson. He loves it. Some of the pages/questions are easy so that he can build his confidence and then, going to little bit difficult one. Great tool, great book.

Love this book!

My 6 year old loves this workbook. He looks forward to working in this workbook every night before bed. There are so many pages for adding, subtraction, counting money, reading time, and reading a calendar. Right now, his favorite is counting money. We will put out actual coins in front of him to go along with the problem in the workbook. Some nights, we will ask him to count the coins and if he gets it right, we let him put it in his piggy bank. I will definitely be purchasing the same book for my younger kids.

Awesome!

I brought this book so that my son and I can go over mathduing the summer to keep his brain stimulated. It was perfect the pages are a nice size so you can make copies easy without missing part of the sheet.
