Description

Help your child learn to read, and sharpen observation skills at the same time! Kids love finding picture clues, and this Try-n-Spy® Adventure workbook gives them plenty of practice. Each colorful page is filled with cute characters and fun objects to find. By spying each one, your child will also develop attention to detail, perception, and problem-solving skills. Silly rhymes add to the fun. “Read the rhyme and put a checkmark next to each picture you find. “Try-n-spy a ferry, a pair of old jeans, a turnip, a rocket, and a jar of black beans.” Or “Try-n-Spy a necklace, my dad’s plaid vest, a seahorse, an iguana, and an open treasure chest.” The majority of the English language is phonetic, and familiar rhymes and patterns help build reading and language skills. Picture clues reinforce the meaning of the words. Choose from 32 whimsical adventure scenes that include a castle, a circus, and a carload of rabbits. Take this book along anywhere, and turn restless wiggles into attention-grabbing giggles. What a great, learn-to-read adventure!

Nice book

I do like this book and so does my 5 year old grandson. Would like it to be a few more pages but definitely a decent book for the price. He's enjoying it.

This book is too easy for 5-6 year old. It would be a great book for 4 year old

Keeps Toddlers Occupied During Long Trips

This workbook made a three hour airplane trip more enjoyable for our 3 1/2 year old. It has many activities that kept him busy. We switched between other themed School Zone (Joan Hoffman) books for a little variety. While he also used an iPad to watch movies and play games, these hands-on and educational books made great supplements. They came in handy during the vacation too. Some School Zone books are a little more light-hearted than others—we chose fun titles for the trip, but at home we also include specific educational subjects.

I really like this book

I really like this book. This is age appropriate beginning at the age of 3 yrs old. The objects are too hard to find and it teaches my daughter to focus on what she is looking for instead of going to fast. it also teaches her object recognition. This is a great activity book to do with your child and I definitely recommend it.
